Around the Medical Center
Parking
We have two parking structures on the east and west sides of our campus. For most hospital services, please park in the Main Parking Structure on the east side of campus. For services in the Outpatient Center and West Tower, please park in the West Parking Structure. If you are visiting the Hunt Cancer Center or the Polak Imaging Pavilion & Breast Diagnostic Center, parking is available at those locations.

Flowers and Balloons
Flowers and Mylar balloons are welcome in most inpatient rooms. Exceptions may include intensive care units, the burn unit, preoperative areas, the post-anesthesia care unit, surgical areas and procedural areas.
Waiting Rooms
Visitor waiting rooms and lounges are located throughout the medical center:
- Lundquist Tower, second floor: A large waiting room provides space for visitors while loved ones are in surgery. A patient status board provides updates using a private patient code system.
- Lundquist Tower visitor lounges: Lounges are located on each floor for family members and friends to use during a loved one’s care.
- Central Tower lobby: A waiting area is located near the Outpatient Pharmacy.
- Central Tower surgery waiting room: Located on the first floor near the Gift Shop, this area provides a place for family members and friends to wait to speak with the surgeon after an operation. On weekdays, a volunteer is available to help keep families informed.
- Outpatient Center lobby: The lobby is located on the first floor of the Outpatient Center, across from the West Tower.
- North Lobby: The lobby is located in the North Wing near the Information Desk. Live piano performances are offered several times each day.
Dining Options
Torrance Memorial offers several dining options for visitors. Our cafés feature dishes made with seasonal, locally grown organic produce, as well as homemade soups and desserts, heart-healthy fare and other reasonably priced selections. We also serve Starbucks coffee. Vending machines are located in the Dining Annex on the second floor of the Central Tower.

Gift Shops
Visit our gift shops in the Grand Lobby of the Lundquist Tower and on the first floor of the North Wing. The shops are staffed and operated by members of the Torrance Memorial Volunteer Auxiliary and offer books, gifts, toiletries and flowers. You may also order online or place an order by calling 310-325-9110.
ATM
An ATM is located near the restrooms in the Grand Lobby of the Lundquist Tower.
Chapel and Spiritual Care
The Turpanjian Family Chapel is located on the first floor of the Lundquist Tower, next to the Healing Garden. A nondenominational Sunday chapel service is offered from 9:30 to 10 a.m. The service includes a brief reflection from a Torrance Memorial chaplain, an opportunity to submit prayer requests and a moment of silence.
A chaplain is available for nondenominational spiritual support and consultation during your stay. Call 310-325-9110, ext. 16694, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Your own clergy member is also welcome to visit at any time.
Healing Garden
The Healing Garden is located between the Lundquist Tower and the North Wing. It features seating, water-efficient landscaping and fountains designed to help patients, visitors and staff relieve stress and connect with nature.
Live Music
Live piano performances are offered several times each day in the North Lobby of the North Wing and the Grand Lobby of the Lundquist Tower.
Health Resource and Retail Center
Visit HealthLinks, a centralized location for health-related information, products and services. HealthLinks is located on the first floor of the West Tower.
Lactation Rooms
Torrance Memorial’s Lactation Center includes two private lactation rooms. The center is located inside HealthLinks on the first floor of the West Tower.
Pharmacy
The Outpatient Pharmacy is located on the first floor of the Central Tower near the medical center’s main entrance.
Hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Free internet access is available throughout the Torrance Memorial campus.
