Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) is a therapeutic approach to treating medical conditions and their associated symptoms using a specifically tailored diet devised and monitored by a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN). A physician’s referral/order is required prior to scheduling a first appointment with an RDN.
Learn About MNT
A registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) will partner with you to develop a safe and effective nutrition program to support your goals. To guide and motivate you, the RDN will use creative and out of the box strategies to help with meal planning, grocery shopping, food journaling and mindful eating.

Join us for a virtual nutrition and fitness program for kids aged 8 to 12. This fun, interactive program encourages kids and their families to make healthy life choices. Led and developed by a registered dietitian, this program consists of six, one-hour sessions via Zoom, including physical activity and a nutrition lesson.
Parents are encouraged to join in the fun, but not required. The goal is for your child to learn the benefits of movement, healthy eating habits, and how to make these healthy habits stick. At the end of each session, there will be 10 minutes to answer parents' questions.
Sponsored by Torrance Memorial's Lundquist Lurie Cardiovascular Institute, and Torrance-South Bay YMCA.
