Welcome to the Torrance Memorial Medical Center Application Portal. The portal is an Internet site dedicated to helping employees and medical staff access information and applications securely from their homes or offices.

Before attempting to connect to this system, the following steps need to be completed successfully:

  1. Review and verify that your system meets the requirements for access
    • Currently Supported Operating Systems:
      • Windows 7, 10
        • 8 GB RAM (recommended)
        • Web browsers supported - Internet Explorer (version 11)
      • Mac
        • Web browsers supported - Firefox only (Safari is not supported)
    • High-speed Internet connection highly recommended (FiOS, Broadband, Cable)
    • If your system does not meet the minimum requirements, consider either updating your system to one of the above supported systems or find a computer which does meet the minimum requirements for the purposes of accessing Torrance Memorial computer resources.
  2. Before access can be granted, you must submit a completed Remote Access Agreement form
  3. Download and install the appropriate Citrix client software. You only have to do this once. If you already have the Citrix software installed, proceed to step #4. Download the appropriate Citrix Client for your operating system below:
  4. Log in to the Application Portal website. You must have a valid log on account to perform this step. (If you don't have a log-on account, please call 310-517-4741)
  5. Dragon Medical One (DMO) - WINDOWS ONLY from https://remote.tmmc.com
    • Technical Requirements:
    • Hardware Requirements:
      • Nuance PowerMicII/III (USB) [Recommended]
    • Instructions:
      • Local Administrator install privileges on computer REQUIRED
      • Plug PowerMic II/III on available USB port.
      • Download & install in this Order:
        • *NOTE: If using other hospital’s Citrix-based EHR/EMR, check functional compatibility BEFORE REPLACING your PC’s current Citrix Workspace version.
        • Nuance Citrix Client Audio Extension.exe (ver. 120.3.479.0)
        • Nuance PowerMic Citrix Client Extension.exe (ver. 120.3.479.0)
        • Verify 2 extensions installed properly, go to Control Panel -> Programs -> Programs and Features (see screenshot).
        • *Note: The 2 Nuance Client Extensions “Installed On” Dates MUST be NEWER/SAME as the Citrix Workspace.
