Samuel Zhang, MD

Dr. Zhang obtained his undergraduate degree at New York University and medical degree at Dartmouth Medical School. He then completed his residency in radiation oncology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he served as chief resident from 2024-2025. His research focused on studying the effects of radiation on bone marrow function, reducing cardiac toxicity in lung cancers, and escalating pre-operative radiosurgery dose for brain metastases. This work was recognized at the institutional (Cedars-Sinai Best Resident Research 2023) and national level (RSNA Roentgen Award, ASTRO research awards 2022 and 2024). In his free time, he loves to explore southern California with his family, watch NBA basketball, play guitar, and read books.
