Vijay Muraliraj, MD

Dr. Muraliraj majored in biology and earned his undergraduate degree at Brown University in 2003. He then went on to complete medical school and his surgical residency at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, TX. His interest in colon and rectal surgery brought him to Southern California where he completed an ACGME accredited colorectal fellowship at the University of Southern California.

Dr. Muraliraj is board certified in both general and colon & rectal surgery by the American board of Surgery. Dr. Muraliraj is a candidate member of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Colorectal Surgery. Dr. Muralirag’s current interests are in the general surgical procedures as well as anorectal disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, colorectal cancer and advanced laparoscopy in the management of these problems, both benign and malignant.
