Dr. William Ueng is a board-certified neurologist who sub-specializes in neurophysiology. He received his undergraduate degree in biochemistry at UCLA. Before going into medicine, he decided to pursue a broader understanding of health and received his master’s degree in public health at Columbia University. He then earned his medical degree from the University of South Florida. He completed his internship at UC Irvine Medical Center before completing his neurology residency and neurophysiology fellowship at UC San Diego Medical Center.
Dr. Ueng is passionate about all aspects of neurology and has particular interest in neuromuscular disorders. He values patient education, open communication, and longitudinal care for his patients and their families. In the future, he hopes to continue his work in medical education and training future neurologists.
In his free time, Dr. Ueng enjoys spending time with his family, his dog, exploring new restaurants, and rooting for the Lakers.
