Salman Azam, MD, is a board-certified internist and cardiologist at COR Healthcare Medical Associates in Los Angeles and member of the Lundquist Lurie Cardiovascular Institute at Torrance Memorial Medical Center. He currently sees patients at the Torrance and Redondo Beach, California, offices, where he specializes in structural heart disease and interventional cardiology diagnosis and treatment for patients of all ages.
Dr. Azam earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. After earning his medical degree, he moved to Colorado to complete an advanced interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of Colorado in Denver, and the Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, WA.
To ensure he stays up-to-date with the latest advances in treatments, Dr. Azam is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology. For the convenience of his patients, Dr. Azam speaks Hindi and English.
When not treating patients at COR Healthcare Medical Associates, Dr. Azam enjoys spending time with his wife and young children, playing sports, and going to the beach.
