Monica Karmen Lee, MD

Dr. Monica Lee grew up in a tiny town in upstate New York. She earned her undergraduate degree at Cornell University and then competed medical school at SUNY Buffalo. Dr. Lee then headed out to Los Angeles for residency at UCLA-Olive View and the start of her California life with her husband Ernie. She has been at Torrance Memorial for 11 years and attends part time at UCLA-Olive view to inspire and be inspired by all the bright emergency medicine residents. When she is not working in the emergency, she is playing with her family on a court, at the beach, on a mountain, in a pool, or on the road. Dr. Lee loves being an emergency physician and is grateful to work with all the talented and caring people at Torrance Memorial.
