Dr. Michael Baker has been privileged to work at Torrance Memorial Medical Center as an emergency medicine physician for the last 20-plus years. Dr. Baker was born in Los Angeles and had the fortune of staying along the coast for his education. After finishing his undergraduate education at University of California-Santa Barbara, he attended medical school at University of California-San Diego, and then finished residency at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Baker was also involved with the Los Angeles County Urban Search and Rescue, and was a first responder to Haiti after the earthquake and to Japan for the Tsunami. Currently, Dr. Baker can be found at gymnastics meets with his daughter or at the skatepark with his son.
