Eileen Y. Chang, MD

Dr. Eileen Chang is a board-certified emergency physician with more than 10 years of experience in emergency medicine. She graduated from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago and was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Chang completed her emergency medicine residency training at Harvard-affiliated Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital.
Prior to joining Torrance Memorial Medical Center, Dr. Chang practiced at both Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospital and UCLA-Santa Monica Medical Center, where she enjoyed teaching medical students and residents. She is passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality emergency care and values building trust with patients during some of their most vulnerable moments. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Chang has participated in medical volunteer missions in Haiti, Guatemala, and Ecuador, reflecting her dedication to serving diverse communities both locally and abroad.

Dr. Chang lives in the South Bay and is proud to care for patients in her local community. She is honored to be part of the Torrance Memorial team, the South Bay’s #1 ranked hospital. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and giving back through community service opportunities.
