U.S. News & World Report Ranks Torrance Memorial Top 3% Hospital in California

TORRANCE, Calif., July 27, 2021  Torrance Memorial Medical Center has once again been recognized as a Best Hospital for 2021-22 for the tenth straight year by U.S. News & World Report, placing the hospital in the top 3% in the state. Torrance Memorial moved up a spot to the 11th highest ranking hospital for overall hospital quality in the state of California and moved to up in ranking to 5th in the Los Angeles region. Torrance Memorial also ranked High Performing in seven specialties and high performing in 16 of 17 areas for procedures and conditions.

The annual Best Hospitals rankings, now in their 32nd year, are designed to assist patients and their doctors in making informed decisions about where to receive care for challenging health conditions or for common elective procedures.
