As an organization that promotes conversation about health and community,
we at Torrance Memorial welcome the engagement of our social media followers.
Our postings on social media receive a variety of comments, and many of
such comments contribute to our social media pages. However, we reserve
the right to remove comments and/or content on Torrance Memorial posts/pages
that we identify as dangerous or inappropriate.
Comments/content are subject to removal if identified as:
- Threatening, abusive or hateful
- Obscene or indecent
- Defamatory or libelous
- False, deceptive or misleading
- Compromising the safety of Torrance Memorial staff
- Exposing any patient information
- Containing photos obtained without proper consent
- Containing copyrighted material

Addressing Your Concerns

Grievances and Complaints
You have the right to voice or submit a written complaint concerning the
quality of care, treatments received or discontinued, or your ability
to exercise your rights as a patient. Please use our

Privacy Complaints
If you believe your privacy rights have been violated, you may file a complaint
with the hospital or with the Secretary of the Department of Health and
Human Services. To file a complaint with the hospital, contact our Privacy
Officer, (310) 784-6894. All complaints must be submitted in writing and
may be emailed to
