Switch Up Your Skincare Routine for Fall Posted on Oct 28, 2016 Switch Up Your Skincare Routine for Fall Now that the weather is getting a bit chillier, you should switch up your daily skincare routine. Doing so will keep your whole body feeling supple and moist. Switch from bar or regular body soaps to creamy body washes. The thicker formula provides more moisture for your skin. Switch it up once a week and alternate between using a face mask and exfoliating. Using a face mask will replenish the moisture you may lose throughout the day and treat dry patches. Exfoliating will get rid of dead skin cells. Switch from lotion to creams or body butters. Creams and body butters will moisturize better during the cold season, reducing water loss from the outer layer of the skin and hydrate it at the same time. Hand creams are essential as well. Switch it up and add a moisturizing lip balm under your usual lip color. This will prevent dry, cracked lips. Switch up your go-to foundation by mixing in a couple drops of a moisturizing serum into it. This will help keep your skin even more moisturized without compromising your everyday makeup routine. While you should switch things up to keep your skin moist throughout the colder seasons, be sure to maintain your current water intake since water is good for the body no matter what season. You should also continue to use sunscreen since people are also exposed to UV rays in the fall. Categories: Health and Wellness Sign up to receive our E-Newsletter
