As the exterior starts to take shape on the new Tower at Torrance Memorial
Medical Center, it’s a great time to see the inner workings of what
goes on “under the skin” of the building. In other words,
what lies behind the walls of the 12 elevators; 256 private patient rooms;
five corridors connected to the existing hospital buildings; nine Family
Lounge spaces; and one cafe? These photos offer a sneak peek inside.
