Rolling Hills, Calif., July 19, 2011 - This year's 25th Annual Torrance Memorial Golf Tournament brought in more than $190,000, an event record, to help support construction of the medical center's new Main Tower.
The tournament was scheduled earlier than in previous years to take advantage of the cooler June weather. Golfers took to the fairways at the picturesque Rolling Hills Country Club for a full day of golf, followed by a cocktail reception, dinner, silent auction and awards ceremony.
