Meet Our Medical Director
Khalid M. Eltawil, MD, FAASM
Torrance Memorial Sleep Disorders Center Medical Director
Pulmonology, Critical Care, & Sleep Medicine
Dr. Eltawil earned his B.A. at University of London and M.D. at Cairo University.
He completed his Residency and his Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep
Fellowship at USC Medical Center in 2003. Dr. Eltawil is Board Certified
in Internal, Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. He currently
serves as the Medical Director of the Peninsula Pulmonary Medical Associates
Sleep Laboratory. Dr.Eltawil is fluent in Arabic.

Torrance Memorial Sleep Disorders Center is dedicated to improving the health and quality of life of patients with
sleep disorders.
Our registered sleep technologists are credentialed by the Board of Registered
Polysomnographic Technologists and licensed by the Medical Board of California.
Be rest assured are staff members are experienced, well-trained and focus
on delivering service excellence to our patients.
Program Director
Pamela Michael BS, RRT-NPS
Director Pulmonary, Sleep, and EEG Services
Pam is a licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner and has been in the field
for more than 30 years. She has been the Director of the Torrance Memorial
Sleep Disorders Center since 2006. She received her BS in Health Science in 1992.
She is a current member of the American Association for Respiratory Care
(AARC), the California Society for Respiratory Care (CSRC) and the National
Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). She serves on the board for the California
Society for Respiratory Care South Coast Region. She is a part-time clinical
instructor for the respiratory program at a local community college.
She is an advocate for sleep technologists and actively participated in
the original draft for licensure for sleep technologists in the state
of California.

Patrick Moday, BBA, RPSGT, RST, CSE, CCRC
Senior Registered Polysomnographic Technologist
Patrick Moday, RPSGT, has been a Senior Registered Polysomnographic Technologist
at the Torrance Memorial Sleep Disorders Center since 2006. Hailing from
both the Midwest and the South, Patrick obtained his BA in Marketing at
Georgia State University. Patrick received his sleep technical training
at the Atlanta School of Sleep Medicine and Technology.
Patrick obtained both his registry (RPSGT) as a sleep tech in 2005 and
Clinical Sleep Educator (CSE) certification in 2012 from the Board of
Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT). He obtained his Registered Sleep
Technologist (RST) credential from the American Board of Sleep Medicine
(ABSM) in 2011. Patrick is currently licensed by Medical Board of California
and a current member of the American Association of Sleep Technologists
(AAST). He has served on the Board of Directors for the California Sleep
Society since 2012. Patrick himself was diagnosed with sleep apnea in
2001. Patrick remains an avid advocate for sleep patients, sleep technologists,
and sleep medicine in general.
Tammy Ng Holman, RPSGT, RST, CSE
Senior Registered Polysomnographic Technologist
Tammy is a licensed polysomnographic technologist though the Medical Board
of California. She earned her credentials as a registered polysomnographic
technologist (RPSGT) in 1999 and was certified as a Clinical Sleep Educator
(CSE) in 2012 from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists
(BRPT). She received her credentials as a registered sleep technologist
(RST) from the American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM) in 2012.
Having been in the field for 20 years, Tammy’s career has been focused
on providing excellent individualized patient care, specializing in both
pediatric and elderly populations. Her passion to teach has led her to
hold numerous roles as a lead trainer and educator. She has also spearheaded
various community outreach programs, providing much needed awareness and support.
