Evelyn's Corner is a specialty resource offering information and a specialized selection of garments and helpful products for women undergoing breast surgery and breast reconstruction. Available products include camisoles and drain pouches to hold post-surgical drains and a bed wedge to promote comfort and speed recovery.

Woman-to-Woman Program

A common side effect of chemotherapy treatment for cancer is hair loss. Some women find this particularly troubling. Our Woman-to-Woman Image Enhancement Center provides supportive information and stylist advice/instruction on using scarves, turbans, hats and hairpieces to in a way that helps you enjoy and feel pride in your appearance. There is no cost to access this service, which includes a private appointment, a tote-bag, a resource guide, a turban and a scarf.

Look Good… Feel Better

This very popular and well-known half-day workshop, offered at no charge and hosted by the American Cancer Society, hands-on instruction by a licensed cosmetologist on ways you can enhance your appearance before, during and after cancer treatment. You’ll experiment with and learn about the creative use of cosmetics and headwear to brighten your look and create positive emotional energy.
