Serves as primary Nurse Practitioner for employee Occupational Health and
Workers’ Compensation clinical management. Directly responsible
for occupational health medical care for injured employees at Torrance
Memorial Medical Center. Provides case management for all work related
injuries. Assists in managing the Workers’ Compensation Program
in conjunction with the Director of Employee Health Services and the Vice
President of Legal Affairs. Maintains federal and state record keeping
requirements with respect to Occupational Health.
This position reports directly to the Director, Employee Health Services.
The medical aspects of this position are supervised by the Medical Director
of Employee Health Services. There are no positions that report directly
to this position.
Master’s degree in Nursing.
Current California Board of Nursing Nurse Practitioner license.
Current California Board of Nursing Furnishing number.
National Certification in an NP specialty (or within 1 year of hire).
BCLS or ACLS Certification
