Pain Management

Patients who are suffering with chronic pain related to cancer or other medical conditions can learn about the treatment options available to them through the Pain Management Program at Torrance Memorial Medical Center. The program offers a variety of treatments, including:

• Steroid injection
• Facet injection
• Trigger point injection
• Selective nerve root block

Staffed by an anesthesiologist who specializes in pain management, the program is located in the Endoscopy Center in the basement of Torrance Memorial Medical Center. A physician referral is required before a consultation can be scheduled. Patients should bring an MRI report and their doctor's orders to the initial consultation. At that time, the pain management specialist will discuss various treatment options and answer any questions the patient may have.
