Medical Groups

If you are selecting an HMO health plan, or are already a member, one of the most important decisions you will make is selection of your primary care physician or medical group to provide your medical care. If you want Torrance Memorial to be your hospital, it is essential that you know which physicians and medical groups use Torrance Memorial as their primary hospital. (Remember: as an HMO member, you are usually required, except in emergencies, to use the hospital designated by your medical group.)

At Torrance Memorial, we are fortunate to have four medical groups or physician organizations affiliated with the hospital for purposes of providing services to HMO members. If you select one of these, you can be assured that you will have access to Torrance Memorial.
