| Ace Inhibitors: |
- Accupril (Quinapril)
- Altace (Ramipril)
- Capoten (Captopril)
- Lotensin (Benazepril)
- Mavik (Trandolapril)
- Monopril (Fosinopril)
- Univasc (Moexipril)
- Vasotec (Enalapril)
- Zestril or Prinivil (Lisinopril)

- Cozaar (Losartan) 25 - 100mg ID
- Diovan (Valsartan) 80-320mg ID

| BASIC ACTION: |
- Prevents the arteries from constricting and improves blood flow.
|
| USES: |
- To lower blood pressure
- To treat congestive heart failure (CHF)
|
| POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS: |
- Cough
- Headache
- Dizziness
- Nausea
- Fatigue
- Hypotension (low blood pressure)
- Reduced kidney function
- Skin rash
- Alteration in taste

| IMPORTANT INFORMATION: |
- May cause dizziness when standing up abruptly.
- Notify physician if severe tiredness, sore throat, swelling in the face, throat, ankles or feet, or a persistent dry, hacking cough is noticed.
- Watch for signs/symptoms of high potassium when taking potassium-sparing diuretics, *potassium supplements or *potassium containing salt substitutes.
- May cause EKG changes or arrhythmias.
