Basic Arrhythmia Course
This course is designed for Registered Nurses and Licensed Vocational Nurses, but may be attended by unit secretaries, monitor technicians and others. This course is a combination self-learning (approximately eight hours a week) and in classroom program. Course fee is $75.00 plus a required textbook (approximately $35.00). Oncology Nursing Society Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Course this two-day course provides a comprehensive review of the knowledge needed to administer cytotoxic and biotherapeutic agents. Upon successful completion of the course and post-test, participants will receive an ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Card. The course fee includes all course materials, copy of the ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Guidelines and Recommendations for Practice, 3rd Ed., continental breakfast both days, and Continuing Nursing Education Credits. BRN approved for 13.5 CEUs, Provider No. 2850.
Date: October 11 and 12, 2010, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Location: Health Conference Room 4.

Cost for the course is $225 ($100 for Torrance Memorial employees and POS). A full refund will be given if this program is cancelled. No fees will be refunded if the participant cancels within 48 hours of the program. Cancellation prior to 48 hours will receive a refund, minus a $20 processing fee.
