Dr. Shrader is an orthopedic doctor who specializes in arthroscopic joint replacement surgery and sports medicine. He has treated many South Bay athletes and non-athletes, as well as players from the MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, and IMSL. Dr. Shrader uses only the most leading-edge, minimally invasive surgical techniques, including the unique direct anterior approach for total hip replacement. This approach uses a small incision, which preserves hip muscles and tendons and allows for a quicker recovery. Dr. Shrader's knee replacement surgery techniques include partial and total knee arthroplasty through a subvastus approach, which avoids cutting into the quadriceps tendon. Patients of all ages benefit because these procedures greatly reduce their recovery time, pain, and scarring.

Dr. Shrader was born, raised, and educated in Southern California. He lives and works in the South Bay and has practiced at Torrance Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Group since 2006.
