After graduating as valedictorian of his high school class, Dr. Nguyen also attained the honor of graduating summa cum laude with his Bachelor of Science from Muhlenberg College, in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Shortly after completing his undergraduate studies, he chose to pursue his interest in molecular biology by participating in research in the field of genomic imprinting at the University of Pennsylvania. He then went on to complete his medical education at Temple University School of Medicine. Dr. Nguyen completed his internship at Christiana Care Hospital in Delaware. He then returned to the Philadelphia area and finished his surgical residency at Abington Memorial Hospital. Dr. Nguyen was recruited to join the Association of South Bay Surgeons in 2008. His current interests include hernia, colorectal, and laparoscopic surgeries.
