Dr. Marcil Mamita is a board-certified internist and geriatrician. Dr.
Mamita began his medical training in his native country of Syria, he received
his medical degree from Damascus University School of Medicine. He completed
his residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in geriatric medicine
in Los Angeles. While a resident, Dr. Mamita received a UCLA Solomon Scholars
Research Award for outstanding medical research. Among his publication
is a research article about the expression of muscle genes inpatients
with muscle easting.
Dr. Mamita is fluent in Spanish and Arabic. He sees patients of all ages,
including those with a special need for a doctor experienced in geriatric medicine.
While he is not busy practicing medicine, he spends time with his family
and enjoys playing basketball and soccer with his children.
