Dr. Madorin completed her general surgery residency
training at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City and went on
to complete a fellowship in endocrine surgery at NorthShore University
Healthsystem in Chicago, IL. She is board-certified by the American Board
of Surgery and is a candidate member of the American College of Surgeons
and the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons.
She has a special interest in thyroid surgery, thyroid cancer, hyperparathyroidism,
minimally invasive parathyroidectomy, and adrenal tumors including pheochromocytoma,
aldosteronoma, Cushing’s syndrome, and adrenocortical carcinoma.
She also has a special interest in advanced laparoscopic general surgery
and breast surgery. She is the author of numerous peer-reviewed scientific
articles and book chapters on thyroid cancer, operative approaches to
adrenal disease, and breast surgery.
