Dr. Thomas Lowe is a graduate of the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine,
where he collaborated on research on the biology and treatment of leukemia.
He then continued in hematology/oncology at UCLA Harbor and went to The
City of Hope where he worked with Dr. Robert Figlin, Director of Oncology.
Dr. Lowe is the author of the breast chemotherapy section in the textbook
Breast Surgical Techniques and Interdisciplinary Management. Dr. Lowe's specialty interests include the treatment of breast, ovarian,
lung, colon, and prostate cancers and he is also an expert in the treatment
of blood disorders and all hematologic malignancies. Dr. Lowe is an instructor
at UCLA Harbor, Vice-Chair of the Oncology Committee at Little Company
of Mary Hospital, and a respected member of the Breast Cancer Conferences
and Tumor Boards at Torrance Memorial Medical Center and Little Company
of Mary Hospital. He is Chairman of the Breast Cancer Advisory Board for
Little Company of Mary Hospital.
