Dr. Kneisley received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania
School of Medicine and completed his neurology residency at Harvard-Children's
Hospital Medical Center, Peter Bent Bingham Hospital (now Brigham and
Women's Hospital), and Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
In that same city, he performed research in sleep and served as an instructor
in Neurology at Harvard Medical School. For more than 25 years, Dr. Kneisley
has operated a private practice in Torrance and is a founding member of
the Torrance Neuroscan Medical Group. He has served as a Clinical Assistant
Professor of neurology at the UCLA School of Medicine. In addition to
private practice, teaching and his responsibilities at the Sleep Disorders
Center, Dr. Kneisley has published extensively in medical journals and
is a frequent expert guest on radio, television and news programs.
Dr. Kneisley is the founder and Medical Director of the TMMC Sleep Disorders
Center. Under Dr. Kneisley's guidance and TMMC's strong support,
the Sleep Disorders Center was first accredited by the American Academy
of Sleep Medicine (AASM) in 1985 and most recently received a 5 year re-certification.
