Dr. Haltom attended medical school and residency at the University of New Mexico. During his training he received awards in orthopedic and thoracic radiology research and for his service to medical education. He completed a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology at UCSD and was chosen as the most outstanding clinical fellow.
Dr. Haltom holds degrees in Engineering and Physiology and, before entering medicine, worked with elite athletes at The Olympic Training Center and Stanford University. He maintains an active lifestyle and recently competed in the U.S. and World Championships in outrigger canoe racing.
His practice includes both general and musculoskeletal radiology, as well as a wide variety of procedures. He is especially interested in working closely with orthopedic surgeons in providing the most up to date care available for their patients.
