Dr. Hool attended medical school at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, New Jersey. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at UCLA-San Fernando Valley and a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at UCLA-Olive View/Cedars Sinai Medical Center. He is from a dedicated medical family with a father and a wife who are also practicing physicians. Dr. Hool’s specialty interests include benign and malignant hematology, and the treatment of breast, lung, colon, and prostate cancers and sarcomas. He also has experience in high dose chemotherapy with stem cell rescue. He is fluent in Spanish and is active in programs related to Latino health issues. Dr. Hool is Chairman of the Oncology Committee and Director of the Inpatient Oncology Unit at Torrance Memorial Hospital. He is very dedicated to improving physician quality within our community and has been selected as a physician liason for Quality Assurance at Little Company of Mary Hospital and Physician Improvement at Torrance Memorial Hospital.
