Torrance Memorial is A Smoke-Free Campus

smoke free campus

In an effort to support a healthful environment for our visitors and patients, Torrance Memorial Medical Center has officially become a smoke- and tobacco-free campus. This campus-wide initiative took effect in November in conjunction with the Great American Smoke Out, a national day dedicated to helping spread awareness about the dangers of smoking to encourage those who smoke to quit. The success of the program’s roll-out can be measured by the fact that, as a result of this change, many individuals quit.
