Torrance-South Bay YMCA and Torrance Memorial Medical Center are now offering
classes to help you lose weight and to improve your health for life. This
year-long evidence based program will teach you ways to eat healthy, boost
your energy and reduce your risk for type 2 diabetes. You do not need
to be pre-diabetic to participate in this program.
Session topics include:
Ways To Eat Less | Problem Solving | Ways To Stay Motivated | 4 Keys To
Healthy Eating Out
Classes are available for everyone in the community. You do not need to
be a YMCA member to join our program. Non-YMCA members receive a four-month
FREE Y membership while in the program. Classes are offered at various
times. Financial assistance is available.
