A Campus-Wide Transformation
The cornerstone of Torrance Memorial's expansion and remodeling plan is a seven-story, state-of-the-art New Main Tower. Based on comprehensive research of community needs for hospital services and reflecting the future of hospital design, the structure will feature the latest medical technologies, patient amenities and diagnostic capabilities. It is designed to serve the project future needs of patients, physicians, employees and visitors.

Project Timeline
March 2013
- Employees begin parking at Honeywell property on Lomita Blvd., freeing West Parking Structure and Skypark Parking Lot for additional patient and visitor parking
November 2014
- Planned completion of construction and licensing followed by occupation of new Main Tower
- Main hospital entrance shifts to the new Main Tower
