High School School Scholarship
Torrance Memorial Medical Center is pleased to announce the continuation of a scholarship program to encourage and support students seeking healthcare careers. This year's scholarship program will award $12,000 in scholarships. Scholarship applications are available to high school seniors planning to pursue coursework toward a degree, license or certification in the healthcare industry's most in-demand hospital professions: as a registered nurse, clinical laboratory scientist, computed tomography technologist, echo technician, nuclear medicine technologist, mammography technologist, occupational therapist, occupational therapist assistant, pharmacist, physical therapist, physical therapist assistant, radiation therapy technologist, radiologic technologist, respiratory therapist, speech pathologist, surgical technician, or ultrasonographer. Graduating high school seniors may apply for one of the $1,000 scholarships.
These scholarship funds were made possible by the medical center and the community's support of the Torrance Memorial Health Care Foundation's Holiday Festival, and golf tournament.
