Gardening
The garden program now includes hands-on gardening days at our new plot at Columbia Park Community Garden. Join us in one of our upcoming classes as we continue our popular garden series at the Torrance Memorial Learning Garden. Each month there is at least one formal class.
Medications 101
A free educational lecture by a Torrance Memorial pharmacist. Topics include myths and facts about combining herbs, over-the-counter medications and prescription drugs; age-related effects of drugs; generic versus name brand medication. The two-hour class is offered twice a year.
Questions For The Pharmacist
A monthly drop-in support group for people with questions about their medicines. It provides help in understanding and managing medication to improve effective usage.
