The South Bay's Most Trusted Resource For Cancer Care

Oncology patients and their loved ones have a powerful and dedicated ally in the battle against cancer. Because cancer is not a single illness, but a host of diseases, Torrance Memorial's Cancer Center provides world-class diagnostic, treatment, rehabilitation and support services tailored to each unique individual. And because breast cancer is the most common cancer found in women, Torrance Memorial's Cancer Center provides a comprehensive breast program offered through the Vasek and Anna Maria Polak Breast Diagnostic Center. Torrance Memorial is also home to the Vasek Polak Research Program, which participates in high quality clinical and health sciences research as well as studies sponsored by the National Cancer Institute (NCI). This affiliation means oncology patients at Torrance Memorial have access to many cutting edge treatments.

Comprehensive Care, Close to Home

For more than 20 years, South Bay communities have trusted Torrance Memorial Cancer Center to provide a full scope of oncology services while offering hope and support to cancer patients and their families. Our Cancer Resource Center offers cancer information and education to patients, their families and the community. Staffed by certified oncology nurses, the Center helps patients identify resources and sort through information about treatment options. And most importantly, Torrance Memorial's Cancer Center has won continuing certification as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Center from the American College of Surgeons' Commission on Cancer.

Torrance Memorial Cancer Center focuses not only on providing immediate care and treatment, but also helping our patients with long-term survivorship and quality of life issues. That's why we've partnered with the UCLA LIVESTRONG Cancer Survivorship Center of Excellence.
