In recognition of June as National Cancer Survivors Month, Torrance Memorial holds an annual event to recognize community cancer survivors and promote recovery from cancer treatment. The event, typically held in the evening during the first week in June, features a pasta dinner, a speaker on a cancer-related topic, and recognition of Torrance Memorial cancer physicians and cancer survivors. The event is free and open to community cancer survivors and their loved ones. The event is offered in collaboration with the Cancer Support Community Redondo Beach and the American Cancer Society Los Angeles Coastal Cities Unit.
