UCLA's Young Breast Cancer Survivorship Program will host a special afternoon "Ask the Doctor" session for young adult survivors of breast cancer.

Breast Self-Examination Training
If you are a woman, you owe yourself a visit to the Torrance Memorial Breast Diagnostic Center for free breast self-examination training. A registered nurse with advanced training in breast health will teach self-administered breast examination techniques. Free of charge. Reach to Recovery
This is a free program offered in collaboration with the American Cancer Society. Trained volunteers who are breast cancer survivors themselves provide information and support for newly diagnosed breast cancer patients. Services include coaching and printed instruction on post-surgery arm exercises. Contact the Cancer Resource Center at 310-517-4665 or the American Cancer Society at 310-348-0356 for more information and to arrange to speak with a volunteer.
Look Good... Feel Better
A free half-day workshop hosted by the American Cancer Society. Patients are instructed in the creative use of cosmetics and headwear to brighten their look and create positive emotional energy.
