Proposed Revisions To Medical Staff Policies And Procedures

In accordance with the Medical Staff Bylaws, the Medical Executive Committee shall not act on proposed revisions to Rules, Regulations and Policies/Procedures until the Medical Staff has had a reasonable opportunity to review and comment on the proposed revisions.

Please forward all comments to Medical Staff Services no later than Monday, June 17, 2014. All comments shall be summarized and provided to the Medical Executive Committee prior to Medical Executive Committee acting on the proposed revisions. The proposed revisions are to the following:

  1. Medical Staff Policy & Procedure: Bioethics Consultation Guidelines
  2. Medical Staff Policy & Procedure: Bioethics Committee: Criteria for the Early Recognition of Conflict Regarding Patient Care Decisions
  3. Medical Staff Policy & Procedure: Practitioner's Well-Being Committee: Reasonable Cause for Testing of Practitioner
  4. Medical Staff Policy & Procedure: Practitioner's Well-Being Committee: Practitioner Health Issues
  5. Medical Staff Policy & Procedure: Practitioner's Well-Being Committee: Practitioner Return to Work
  6. Medical Staff Policy & Procedure: Management of Disruptive Behavior or Harassment by the Medical Staff
  7. Medical Staff Policy & Procedure: Blood Alcohol Testing
  8. Medical Staff Policy & Procedure: Professional Relations Committee
