Statement of Need
Cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of death worldwide and
recognizing patients at risk is the key to early interventions and decreased
morbidity and mortality. This symposium is designed to provide health
care professionals with evidence-based diagnostic and mangement skills
to improve helath care outcomes and quality of life for patients with
cardiovascular and metabolic risk factors.
