Torrance Memorial's expert orthopedic surgeons perform more than 2,100 procedures each year. Our surgeons are all board-certified and have undergone advanced training in minimally invasive surgery.

Every patient stays in a private room equipped with a television and cable access. We have an on-site, state-of-the-art gymnasium for physical therapy and
rehabilitation.

Blue Distinction is a designation awarded by Blue Cross and Blue Shield to medical facilities that have demonstrated expertise in delivering quality health care. The designation is based on rigorous, evidence-based selection criteria established in collaboration with expert physicians and medical organizations. The program's goal is to help consumers find healthcare facilities that have demonstrated better overall outcomes (e.g., fewer medical complications, fewer readmissions and higher survival rates) in the delivery of specialty care.
