As You Welcome a New Addition to Your Family, We Welcome You to Ours

Torrance Memorial Medical Center was built on the foundation of family, serving the growing community surrounding us, and today is no exception. Maternal Child Health Service teams are made up of highly trained and specialized registered nurses, who understand the immensity of having a child. We strive to give you the knowledge and support to ensure a healthy newborn. From a full spectrum of Childbirth Prep Classes to Support Groups after birth, along with a full scope of in-house clinical services, Torrance Memorial is dedicated to your optimal health. Just like family.

Torrance Memorial offers a full range of maternal health care, including:

Torrance Memorial is also proud to announce the commencement of our in-house Laborist group, a service of 21 local physicians who provide 24/7 coverage to our Labor & Delivery unit. This means all patients will have access to obstetric and gynecological intensivists - from nurses to neo-natologists! We have teamed together to ensure the highest patient safety and satisfaction.

Maternity Services Tours

To learn more about the facility and get acquainted with our medical staff, sign up for a walking Maternity Services Tour. Led by Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby nurses, expectant parents can ask questions, tour delivery suites and Mother/Baby rooms.
