Light Up A Life
The Light Up a Life event offers the community the opportunity to remember and honor those who have passed away by providing a warm, intimate celebration of their lives. Because the grief over losing a loved may heighten during the holiday season, Torrance Memorial hosts
Light Up a Life to help understand those feelings and share the life of someone special with the community in a healing and memorable ceremony.
Donations raised by Light Up a Life will assist those who cannot afford necessary hospice care and will help to provide services when a patient's financial resources fall short. These services include quality nursing care, psychological, social and spiritual counseling and pain management. Donations are welcomed and appreciated at the event, or you may

Memories of Mother Tea

Please join us for Memories of Mother, a tea presented by:
Torrance Memorial Medical Center honoring the memory of your mother. This special tribute includes small group discussions, musical entertainment and refreshments. Guests are invited to share photos and stories about their mothers so others have the opportunity to learn about these special women.
