Thelma McMillen Center for Chemical Dependency Treatment

Initial Assessment

There is no charge for the initial assessment, the first step in the right direction.

Program Cost and Insurance

Most insurance plans cover most of the cost of the program, but pre-admission insurance verification is available free of charge through the medical center. Staff members maintain open communication with referring physicians or organizations, including providing written reports upon request. For those without insurance, or with high co-payments, payment options and plans are available.

Patient Assistance

A limited number of scholarships are available to qualifying individuals without insurance or the funds to pay for treatment. Additional information is available during the initial assessment. The underwriting of scholarships has been made possible through the generosity of Karl B. McMillen Jr., the McMillen Family Foundation, and other donors.
