Thelma McMillen Center for Chemical Dependency Treatment
Initial Assessment
There is no charge for the initial assessment, which is the first step toward treatment.
Program Cost and Insurance
Most insurance plans cover the cost of the program, but pre-admission insurance verification is available free of charge through the medical center. Staff members maintain open communication with referring physicians or organizations, including providing written reports upon request. There is a cash fee for those without insurance. One half of the program cost is required before beginning the program. Payment arrangements can be made for the balance, which is due prior to completion of the program. For more information about payments staff members are available to answer any questions.
Patient Assistance
A limited number of scholarships are available to qualifying individuals without insurance or the funds to pay for treatment. Additional information is available during the initial assessment. The underwriting of scholarships has been made possible through the generosity of Karl B. McMillen Jr.
