Treating Adults and Youth

Thelma McMillen Center has separate treatment programs for adults (age 18+) and adolescents (age 11-18) for alcohol and drug addictions. Both programs incorporate our core 3-stage outpatient model.

• Stage 1: 6-10 weeks intensive treatment therapy
• Stage 2: 6 weeks transitional therapy
• Stage 3: 24 weeks continuing care therapy

As part of our initial therapeutic work, every client receives an individual bio-psycho-social assessment that creates a unique treatment plan for each client. Recommended in each treatment plan is significant family involvement in treatment process. Our treatment approach includes:
