BASIC ACTION:
  • Slows heart rate
  • Decreases blood pressure
  • Decreases the work load of the heart
USES:
  • Angina (chest pain)
  • Hypertension (high blood pressure)

  • Myocardial infarction (to decrease the work load of the heart)
POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS:
