This outpatient procedure uses digital mammography technology to precisely locate extremely small irregularities in the breast. Tissue samples as small as two millimeters - the size of the head of a pin - can be enough for an accurate diagnosis. This minimally invasive technique only requires local numbing and allows patients to resume normal activities the same day.
