Labor and Delivery
This training program will provide an RN with the didactic and clinical
skills needed to deliver direct patient care in Labor and Delivery. The
first few weeks will consist of 8 hour shifts for the beginning educational
components and then introduction into clinical care will occur as they
transition into 12 hour shifts. The entire program will be approximately
10 weeks long and will incorporate NRP and OB ACLS certifications.
- Current CA RN licensure.
- Current BCLS, NRP and ACLS certifications from AHA.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Diploma or official transcripts required.
- They must have 2 years of RN experience in an acute care setting in order
to be eligible.
