Under the direct supervision of Pharmacy Assistant Director or a Registered Pharmacist, and in accordance with pharmacy law and standard policies and procedures performs all aspects of drug distribution. Drug distribution includes, but not limited to: compounding, order entry and filling, narcotic distribution, IV admixtures, stock requests and prescription filling. The pharmacy interim permitee will assist in clinical monitoring, investigational drug protocols and M.U.E. studies as needed.
California Pharmacy Intern license. Current graduate from School of Pharmacy. No more than six months in this position. Upon failure to pass the California State Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist Licensing exam for a second time, the employee will be reclassified as a Senior Pharmacy Intern provided there is a position and the employee maintains a current Pharmacy Intern license. PC experience. Able to read and write English. Typing 35 wpm.
